What… Raise Awareness!
Appeal as many people as possible in as many ways as possible!
Therefore, we try not only to organise bands and DJs, but also lectures, art exhibitions, artistic and theatre performances, podium discussions, info-actions, signature/photo actions.

Usually we have 4 festivals per academic year. This spring there is a big Open Air Festival planed. But there are actually no limits; maybe somebody would be up to organize just an evening in the Backstage (or any other location) or a Classical Music Concert?

We inform the people about what happens in the world, try to raise awareness, but also about what each individual can do about it!

The profit from the festival is used to finance other A.I.M.S. activities, or it goes to charity (as with the festival that we organized within the rag-week context).

You…
We always need people to organize festivals and we are always happy to see more new faces.
Tasks can be to organize bands, DJs, artists, theater groups, lecturers artistic performances (fire people, acrobatics, capoera...), technician for the sound, photo/art exhibitions, make & distribute flyers, organize a location (we did all our festivals at the D'n Hiemel, but feel free to choose any other location that suits your intentions).
None of the people that help with the festival earn any profits. The bands don't get paid for their performances. Only the location manager gets paid.
Be creative!! Try new things... nearly everything that raises attention for AIMS and Human Rights Problems that surface in some parts of this world is ok.
