December 10th is International Human Rights Day. International Human Rights Day is the anniversary of the ratification of the U.N. Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which recognized the right to join a union and bargain as a basic human right. People around the world organized a week of action to commemorate International Human Rights Day, Dec. 10.
Kom in actie voor de Gay Pride in Polen en Letland

Amnesty biedt op 15 mei actiekaarten aan aan de ambassades van Letland en Polen om te protesteren tegen discriminatie van seksuele minderheden. Ook worden die dag de Poolse en Letse autoriteiten opgeroepen deelnemers aan Gay Pride-parades te beschermen. Kom ook naar Den Haag! Hoe meer mensen tijdens de kleurrijke protestactie meelopen, hoe krachtiger onze oproep!
